Dog Training Services NYC + CT

Training Style & Tools I Use
Training involves more than just a bunch of commands or tools. It's also about loving and understanding your dog. Importantly, what is lacking in almost all dogs needing training for behavioral issues is the lack of rules, structure, leadership, obedience, and clear communication. Additionally, to help communicate with your dog, I utilize various training tools and methods, as having a range of options to apply to each situation is beneficial. My training tools may include slip leashes, prong collars, e-collars, toys, playtime, people, and other dogs for distraction and socialization. The Walk Doctor sessions are designed for those seeking a quick-fix class to train their dogs to walk nicely on a leash while improving their obedience. You will learn that by introducing structure, rules, clear communication, and accountability for your dog, you can adjust your walking expectations and significantly enhance your dog’s overall behavior. Additionally, you’ll gain the knowledge and tools needed to prevent other unwanted issues. I thought you’d like to know we did somewhere around 60 mins of variable-timed crate sessions. No barking. A few mins ago, I left Rocco in his crate while I went to pick up food. There was No barking as far as I know. That’s the first time in over three years that I’ve been able to leave him home alone. Thanks a million.
